    SLA on tour: IAC, Bremen

    At the 69th International Astronautical Congress in Bremen (1st to 5th of October)  the SLA together with partners of the consortium, such as the TU Berlin, MMI, RIF, FZI, JKIC presented the iBOSS project on the DLR’s large exhibition area.

    At the Industry Space Days (ISD) 2018 taking place on 11th and 12th of September andorganized by ESA, the iBOSS GmbH, a spin-off from the iBOSS project at the SLA, and theHeggemann AG sharing a booth, presenting the iSSI - intelligent Space System Interface.

    From September 4th to 7th , the SLA was present at the 8th EASN – CEAS International Workshop on Manufacturing for Growth & Innovation, which brought together speakers from industry and academia to discuss prospects and developments in aerospace technology.

    ILA 2016

    As part of the exhibition stand of the BMWi (German Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy) at the ILA 2016 (International Aerospace Exhibition), the SLA presented the iBOSS research project (Intelligent Building Blocks for On-Orbit Satellite Servicing) granted by DLR (German Aerospace Center). Together with the project partners of the TU Berlin, FZI Karlsruhe, RIF, JKIC and the MMI of RWTH Aachen University, the Team demonstrated the full modular satellite concept.

    Space Tech Expo Europe 2015

    The SLA had the opportunity to present the results of the joint project iBOSS-2 (Intelligent Building Blocks for On-Orbit Satellite Servicing) at the first edition of the Space Tech Expo in Europe, held in Bremen from November 17th to 19th. Together with other exhibits from all project partners the SLA showcased two standardized, space specific building block structures, presented for the first time, and the highly integrated Intelligent Space System Interface (ISSI).
