About Ms. Schlauch
Ulrike Schlauch studied Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 2005 until 2012, specializing in Materials Engineering. From 2009 till 2010, she spent one year abroad in Norway studying at the NTNU in Trondheim. Since December 2012, Ms. Schlauch has been working as researcher at the Institute of Structural Mechanics and Lightweight Design. In this function she is responsible for the courses Leichtbau and Strukturentwurf für Luft- und Raumfahrt . Furthermore she works in the field of material fatigue and the use of thermal imaging using infrared thermography (passive and Lock-in). Her field of research is the analysis and design of CFRP patch repairs for metallic aircraft structures.
